The Humble beginning of Al-Raya on 70th Street started on a small 1700sq. mts sell area selling 15,000 items has now grown to more than 30,000 items stacked neatly using the best techniques of Category Management. From day one Al-Raya began as a 24 hours a day operation and today boasts of 13 branches, which 8 are in Jeddah whilst 1 each in Makkah, Madinah ,Taif, Najran & Sabya (Jizan).

Al-Raya`s 24 hours a day operation is a tribute to its success and patented display feature ie; "Quality round the clock".  It serves nearly 50,000 customers per day, with nearly 30,000 food and nonfood items on the shelves. Fruits, vegetables, Meat, Dairy, Health & Beauty aid, Bakery products, Electronics & House hold articles, Fine Jewellery & Women Accessories. There are now, toys & Playroom for the kids, novelty shop for women. We have it all!

These minute aspects have instilled in us an excitement and commitment and that is the source which is keeping the spirit of service in us alive.
